IN THIS LESSON - June 21, 2026

In an age of political upheaval, shifting global power, and relentless uncertainty, the believer desperately needs to be anchored in the one truth that no election, no crisis, and no human decision can ever dislodge: God is sovereign over every nation, every ruler, and every event unfolding on the world stage. In this lesson, we open Daniel 2:20–21 and stand before the majestic declaration that God removes kings and raises kings, changes times and seasons, and has never once been surprised by the headlines. Through Psalm 2, Proverbs 21:1, and Isaiah 46:9–10, we build a comprehensive, unshakeable biblical picture of God's absolute authority over human history — past, present, and still to come. We examine how believers in the most turbulent seasons of history — World War II, political persecution, and mission fields — found peace not in favorable circumstances but in the unchanging sovereignty of God. This lesson will change the way you read the news, pray for your leaders, and engage as a citizen of both an earthly nation and an eternal Kingdom — with confidence, purpose, and the settled peace of those who know who holds tomorrow.
