Jesus, Moses, and the Call to a Faithful Heart

This lesson explores Hebrews 3–4, highlighting Jesus’ supremacy over Moses and His role as both Apostle and High Priest  . Students are reminded that while Moses was faithful as a servant, Christ surpasses him as the sinless Son who mediates with perfect authority. The class examines the Israelites’ failures in the wilderness and how patterns of unbelief, entitlement, and rebellion still threaten believers today  . A major emphasis is understanding what a “hardened heart” looks like in practical life—refusing God’s voice, lacking compassion, and clinging to pride or idolatry. The lesson also stresses the urgency of guarding our hearts through humility, repentance, prayer, and ongoing meditation on God’s Word. Finally, the class highlights the shared responsibility Christians have to encourage, restore, and support one another with compassion and truth.
